The older japanese ds 1 pedals sound a lot better. It gets a lot of hate but used with the right amp and with the right settings it s. The pre 1994 ds 1 is so much better than the newer ones imo.

Boss ds 1 hate. Every setting was harsh and well the sound just wasn t that good.
